ORIGIN of OneLily:

“I've been losing my sight gradually for decades, due to a rare retinal disease called retinitis pigmentosa or RP for short.

A few years back, I found myself periodically stopping on the sidewalk to look at flowers and gardens, and I would end up staring at them for a very long time. It was as if I was trying to memorize the beauty.

I took a bunch of photos and then I decided to take one image of one lily and do a series of paintings based on that one image. Hence the name, OneLily.”
